These motorcycles pose a risk of injuries due to loose fixing screws on the chain sliding guard. If the upper screw becomes completely unscrewed, there is a danger that the chain sliding guard could block the chain, causing the motorcycle to crash.

Any pockets of gas within the hydraulic circuit of the rear brake will significantly reduce the effectiveness of the system and in extreme cases will render the rear brake inoperative.
