The propellant in the inflator of the driver airbag may deteriorate over time. If the airbags deploy, it could result in fragments of the inflator injuring the vehicle's occupants. The engine may run for a short period by itself when the ignition key has been left in the ignition barrel in the LOCK (OFF) position due to abnormal wear of the key cylinder trigger. In such a case, the vehicle may move by itself if the gears are engaged.
