An oil leak from the turbocharger oil feed pipe can result in oil deposits onto the road. This can create slippery sections, increasing the risk of accidents and injuries especially for two-wheeled vehicles. The TFT Instrument Cluster (digital speedometer) screen can go blank and reset intermittently. This may distract the driver and increase the risk of an accident.

Due to incorrect wiring at the RCM (Restraints control module) connector the curtain airbag may not deploy if a vehicle collision occurs, increasing the risk of injuries to vehicle occupants.

A fault in the gas generator of the driver airbag causes uncontrolled inflation when the airbag is activated.

The fuel return hose may leak. As a consequence fuel puddles may appear underneath the vehicle or fuel may leak onto the road surface, which can present a skid hazard.

The inner sill panel may be cracked. If this is the case, there is a risk, in the event of a left-hand side impact, that the underfloor fuel lines will rupture, resulting in fuel leaking from the vehicle and a risk of fire.

There is insufficient clearance between the underfloor fuel delivery lines and the vehicle under shield body, leading to a chafe condition. As a result, fuel might leak and in the presence of an ignition source lead to a fire. In addition, fuel leakage during vehicle use could cause the engine to cut out with minimal warning, potentially causing a crash.

If the vehicle is involved in a high speed crash that triggers the second stage deployment of the driver frontal airbag, the second stage of the airbag will not deploy properly for this crash condition. This increases the risk of injury to the driver, particularly unbelted drivers.

The fuel outlet flange mounted in the fuel tank can crack and leak fuel vapour or liquid fuel. This could lead to a pool of fuel underneath the rear of the vehicle, which in the presence of an ignition source could lead to a fire.

A fault with the fuel pump driver module can cause the fuel pump to stop thereby starving the vehicle of fuel. As a result the vehicle will cut out without warning.
