This may lead to a fatigue crack on the filter cover in the area of the inlet fitting and the possibility of a diesel fuel leak. This can lead to a traffic hazard.

Should a fault occur in the side airbag system, the fault would not be recognised and the airbag warning light would not be activated. Failure to detect such a fault could lead to an increased risk of injuries for passengers in the event of an accident.
