Check This Car for the following recall:
The affected vehicles are equipped with the gasoline engine and 5 speed manual transmission. Due to an improper shape of the shift cable clip that keeps the gearshift cable attached to the gearshift lever, the shift cable clip can contact the gearshift lever housing if excessive lateral force is applied when shifting to first gear. Repeated shifting in this manner can eventually cause the shift cable clip to break. If the shift cable clip breaks, the gearshift cable can become disconnected from gearshift control lever, resulting in loss of the ability to change transmission gears.
