01/09/16 | | Raised: 29/03/18 - FUEL MAY LEAK View/hide..
Recalls Number (Vehicles Effected)R/2018/035 (4464)
Manufacturer ReferenceH081
DefectThe brazing of the fuel rail end caps is inconsistent and may not correctly seal the fuel rail ends. Fuel vapour and liquid fuel leaks can occur over time. This can lead to a liquid fuel leak into the engine bay.
RemedyOn affected vehicles replace the fuel rail with a correctly manufactured version.
|
01/09/16 | | Raised: 31/10/17 - INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MAY INTERMITTENTLY GO BLANK View/hide..
Recalls Number (Vehicles Effected)R/2017/291 (8314)
Manufacturer ReferenceH056
DefectDue to a software issue the Instrument cluster may intermittently go blank.
RemedyAffected vehicles will be recalled to have the latest software installed/downloaded.

01/11/16 | | Raised: 19/05/17 - FUEL HOSE MAY LEAK View/hide..
Recalls Number (Vehicles Effected)R/2017/143 (5140)
Manufacturer ReferenceH016
DefectThe fuel return hose may leak. Increased fuel odour may be noticed and drivers may also observe liquid fuel puddles underneath the vehicle. It is possible that fuel may leak onto the road surface which can present a skid hazard to other road users increasing the risk of a crash. Should leaking fuel come into contact with a sufficiently hot surface in the engine bay there will be an increased risk of fire.
RemedyRecall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and replace the fuel return hose.
|
06/10/14 | | Raised: 09/02/17 - FUEL MAY LEAK View/hide..
Recalls Number (Vehicles Effected)R/2016/297 (3147)
Manufacturer ReferenceJ079
DefectIt has been identified that the underfloor mounted diesel fuel cooler may not have been manufactured to specification. This can result in fuel leak. The driver will become aware of the issue by either a smell of fuel pooling of fuel under the vehicle when stationary or by an increase in fuel consumption. Where a leak is present pooling can occur on the road surface which can present a skid hazard to other road users and increase the risk of a crash. In extreme circumstances the pooling of fuel underneath the vehicle could in the presence of an ignition source lead to a fire.
RemedyRecall all affected vehicle to have the diesel fuel cooler replace with a new quality assured cooler.
|
16/02/16 | | Raised: 31/12/16 - SEAT BELT PRETENSIONER MAY NOT DEPLOY View/hide..
Recalls Number (Vehicles Effected)R/2017/004 (4735)
Manufacturer ReferenceJ081
DefectIt has been identified by the seat belt Pre-Tensioner manufacturer that the pre-tensioner initiator generant mix ratio does not meet specification. This can therefore result in the initiator not functioning correctly which can lead to none activation of the pre-tensioner.
RemedyRecall all affected vehicles to check the pre-tentioner and if required replace it with a new quality assured component.
|
22/09/15 | | Raised: 05/05/16 - DRIVER'S SEAT-BELT PRE-TENSIONER MAY NOT DEPLOY AS INTENDED View/hide..
Recalls Number (Vehicles Effected)R/2016/068 (924)
Manufacturer ReferenceJ064
DefectOn certain vehicles the Restraints Control Module may have been incorrectly connected. As a result the driver's seat belt pretensioner may not deploy
RemedyOn affected vehicles rewire the connector to the Restraints Control Module
|
04/11/14 | | Raised: 24/03/16 - ENGINE MAY CUT OUT AND FAIL TO RESTART View/hide..
Recalls Number (Vehicles Effected)R/2016/037 (16673)
Manufacturer ReferenceJ062
DefectThe under bonnet low pressure fuel feed hose may detach from the fuel filter. A fuel smell may be noticed due to fuel leaking into the engine bay and in the event of hose detachment the engine will cut out. Once the engine has cut out the brake vacuum reservoir will be depleted after 2-3 brake pedal depressions and the vehicle will lose brake power assistance however foundation brakes continue to operate. The engine cannot be re-started. Engine cut out with minimal warning could potentially cause a crash.
RemedyRecall the vehicles that are likely to be affected and add a spring wire retention clip to the low pressure fuel feed hose joint.
