DefectCarbonised grease may accumulate between the contact points in the ignition switch reducing the insulation performance inside the switch. In this condition the switch may generate heat resulting in smoke and in the worst case a fire.

DefectThe possibility exists that the power steering oil pump pulley retaining nut may become loose resulting if the vehicle continues to be driven in the pulley becoming detached. In the worst case due to loss of drive to the water pump the engine may seize.
RemedyRecall likely to be affected vehicles and replace the pulley retaining nut with a modified version which will be loctited in place and tightened to an increased torque.

DefectRepeated thermal expansion and shrinkage in use may cause the front fog light socket holder to become detached from the fog light case. As a consequence an exposed hot bulb may come into contact with part of the vehicle body or fittings.
RemedyAttach a spring to the rear of the fog light to prevent the socket holder detaching from the fog light case.
