DefectUnder extremely low ambient temperatures the fuel pressure regulator may become frozen and cause leakage from the junction point of the fuel hose due to an increase in pressure.
RemedyRecall likely to be affected vehicles and subject them to the following rework action. 1 Replace the fuel pressure regulator.2 Change the vacuum system routing utilising new parts.3 Replace the fuel delivery hose with new improved parts and a new clip. On Grand Vitara XL-7 models items 1 and 2 only will be carried out.
