The product poses a risk of injuries because there is a possibility that in some cases a higher electrical current could cause the shift solenoid circuit contact in the stop lamp switch to burn or melt. Consequently the switch may not operate correctly and the vehicle stop lights will not come on when the brake pedal is pressed. The product poses a risk of fire because a fuel hose in the engine compartment may not be fully locked onto the fuel injector. If the connector is not locked correctly, the connector may detach from the injector resulting in a fuel leak. A fuel leak in the engine bay could result in loss of power, causing the malfunction indicator to light up, a smell of diesel fuel, smoke or, potentially, fire.
